SKETCHING PARIS
Logline: Stephanie Sheppard, at 50, is an ambitious, workaholic, magazine editor working in the city of lights. She thinks she has it made when she gets the chance-of-a-lifetime promotion to New York, but when she meets Tom, a young sketch artist, her world is turned upside down.
Synopsis: “You know sometimes you wake up and get some tune stuck in your head, and you have it there all day, and you can't get rid of it?”
Stephanie Sheppard, at 50, is an ambitious, workaholic, magazine editor working in the city of lights, Paris. She thinks she has it made when she gets the chance-of-a-lifetime promotion to New York.
But when she meets Tom, a young sketch artist, her world is turned upside down. Tom finds in Stephanie his artistic muse, while she finds a young man who sees her as she really is: like Paris, beautiful and ageless.
As their relationship grows, Stephanie fears their age difference is an insurmountable obstacle. She leaves Tom and goes to New York. But realizing that she has left behind what she values most, she returns and speaks the words above to Tom.
