Synopsis: Did Andrew Dunn, the thirty-eight years old photographer brutally kill his perfect family? Nobody knows.

Not even him.

He is a sleepwalker so even if he’s guilty he couldn’t have been aware of his actions, but in that case he wishes for the worst sentence possible.

He is placed in an asylum to undergo psychiatric testing and hypnotherapy to uncover the truth.

Andrew has lost everything, but he’s certainly not alone.

Dr. Robert Sinclair, his psychiatrist is more and more convinced of Andrew’s innocence even though this blinds him from seeing the problems of his own disintegrating family. His wife, Anne, the foster mother of his two daughters tries to deal with her lack of emotions towards the girls who accept her as their mother. But forcing love isn’t as easy as she hoped it would be.

Garry, Andrew’s hyperactive roommate sees him as the next messiah, determined to free Andrew from the institution and clear him of all false accusations. Garry is religiously fanatical about his love of consumer society. He feels it’s his destiny to help Andrew through the analysis of signs only he can interpret.

But can Andrew be sure about his own memories anymore? Can he go on living without knowing what he did? Or if he finds out the truth, will he be able to accept it?

While Andrew’s nightmares are physically acted out each night, his hypnotherapy reveals the awful events of his past.
